Swimmers will practice at a time designated to their specific Age Group, and in a practice group designated to their swimming experience and performance. See practice groups and descriptions, below!

Mini Group:
Description:
12 & Under Beginner Group
Designed for swimmers ages 12 and under who are new to competitive swimming, including first-time swim team members and those newly experiencing the sport. Participation in 2–3 practices per week is required to build fundamental skills, endurance, and confidence in a team environment.
Required Equipment: Kickboards (we will provide)

Junior I Group
Description:
Ages 12 & Under – Intermediate Group
Designed for swimmers ages 12 and under who have progressed beyond the beginner level but are still developing the fundamental skills of competitive swimming. Swimmers in this group continue to refine stroke technique, starts, turns, and endurance while building confidence in a team environment. Participation in 2–3 practices per week is required.
Required Equipment: Kickboards (we will provide) & Fins (Flippers) (We have some at the pool, however I recommend buying your own Fins!)

Junior II Training Group
Description:
Ages 9–14 – Advanced Intermediate Group
This is the highest level of intermediate training for swimmers ages 9–14. Athletes in this group have developed strong fundamental skills and are preparing to become successful middle school and high school swimmers. Training intensity increases with a greater focus on technique refinement, endurance, race strategy, and competitive performance.
Swimmers are expected to increase their commitment to both practices and competitions as they progress through this level. Participation in 3–4 practices per week is required, and involvement in USA Swimming competitions is strongly encouraged to support long-term development and competitive success.
Junior II Equipment Requirements:
Fins, Paddles, Snorkel

Senior Prep Group
Group Description
Preparing athletes for the transition from Junior II to Senior level. Swimmers are placed in this group at the discretion of the head coach
Senior Prep Group follows the equipment requirements of the Senior Groups and are required 3-4 days a week of training

Senior I Group
Description:
Ages 13 & Over Advanced Swimmers
Senior I swimmers are competitive teen athletes focused on developing technique, endurance, and racing skills. These swimmers are expected to train consistently, contribute at championship meets, and compete regularly throughout the season. They are typically high-point scorers at our championship meets
Required Attendance:
- 3–4 practices per week
- All B&GC League Meets & RIMA Championships
- 75% of USA Swimming Meets
Senior Groups Equipment Requirements:
Fins, Paddles, Snorkel, We provide Kick Boards & Pull Bouys but you all can get your own as well

Senior II Group
Ages 13 & Over Advanced Swimmers
Senior II Swimmers are highly competitive teen swimmers that regularly attend practice and swim meets & are typically top finishers & finalists at our RIMA league championships and Boys & Girls Club National Championships. 4-5 Practices a week are required. Senior II swimmers are highly competitive athletes committed to advanced training and high-level performance. These swimmers are expected to demonstrate strong dedication to practice and competition. Senior II members are often top performers at championship meets.
Required Attendance:
* 4–5 practices per week
* All B&GC League Meets & RIMA Championships
* All USA Swimming Meets and Championship Events
Senior Groups Equipment Requirements:
Fins, Paddles, Snorkel, We provide Kick Boards & Pull Bouys but you all can get your own as well
